Wheelchair donation by National Australia Bank

Representatives of the NATIONAL AUSTRALIA BANK paid a visit to 3B recently to present to the K.C.S.G. a shiny new wheelchair which was purchased using the donation of funds by the bank. The wheelchair will be used to commute between the ward and Ronald Mc.Donald House, a much needed item we found out. The bank have formed a partnership with the K.C.S.G. and have pledged their ongoing support to the group and 3B.

RENOVATION RESCUE UPDATE

We never thought it would ever happen but it did! 3B is now the new 5A, but to everyone it will still be 3B. I am sure everyone is feeling a little disorientated at the moment. Think of it as been on a cruise ship, each week we must all look through the telescope and keep our eye focused on the view at the end, and as the journey progresses the view will become closer until the day when we can see our destination and embark safely on the shores of the new 3B.

How's that for a bit of home grown philosophy !!!!!!!

To ensure the KIDS CANCER SUPPORT GROUP continues to be a successful organisation we need more people to assist with the group's activities

A few hours each month is all we ask and your help will be invaluable.

The KCSG meets the first Tuesday of each month in the Parent Retreat on 3B at 7:30pm


Come along and get tips on how to start your book. Scrapbooking is not only a fun craft but it is an important way to document our history and preserve for future generations.
Materials are provided all you have to do is bring along a few of your favourite photos.

SCRAPBOOKING UPDATE

Scrapbooking sessions are coming along in leaps and bounds with the children working on some special scrapbooking pages for Fathers Day, Mums and Dads are welcome to join in and produce their own masterpiece. Thankyou to Ruth Barrington who organizes these sessions with the school teachers and volunteers without whose help they could not go ahead.
